The newest high-end VW Touareg SUV will be based on the Volkswagen MLB Evo platform. This is the same platform on which was built the new generation of Audi Q7 and Bentley Bentayga. It will utilize Volkswagen’s MLB longitudinal engine architecture, which is also shared by big Audi sedans and SUVs.
